Q: Why is Xlio dual licensed? Why not either open-source or commercial only?

A: We wanted to take advantages of both world. By offering commercial licenses our clients get support when needed and project will not be abandoned. By providing the source, we attract passionate individuals to find bugs and propose new features.

Q: Are there other options to get a license for a closed-source project?

A: Yes. Write us an email if:

  • you're working on a non-commercial closed-source project;
  • you wrote a blog post about Xlio;
  • you have implemented a new feature in Xlio.
